Bamboo flooring is a new type of building decorative material. It's made from natural, high-quality bamboo that undergoes over twenty processes, including removing the original bamboo pulp, high-temperature and high-pressure pressing, multiple layers of paint, and finally infrared drying. Bamboo flooring has natural bamboo textures, is fresh and elegant, and gives a feeling of returning to nature and refined detachment. So, what are the advantages of bamboo flooring?

1. Warm in Winter, Cool in Summer

A prominent advantage of bamboo flooring is that it's warm in winter and cool in summer. Because bamboo has a low thermal conductivity, it doesn't get cold or radiate heat itself. This makes it particularly suitable for installation in living rooms, bedrooms, gyms, studies, studios, hotels, and other floor and wall decorations.

2. Long Lifespan

The theoretical lifespan of bamboo flooring can reach around 20 years. Correct use and maintenance are key to extending its life. For daily cleaning, you can sweep first, then wipe with a wrung-out damp cloth. If conditions permit, you should also wax the floor every two to three months.

3. Beautiful Appearance

Bamboo's natural color is beautiful, and it's elastic, moisture-proof, mold-resistant, strong, and warm in winter and cool in summer. Using the curved surface of bamboo as the visible side gives it a unique charm.

4. Preserves Indoor Space

The bamboo flooring market has specially introduced double-tongue-and-groove (E-type, F-type) bamboo flooring which can be installed directly without the need for joists. This effectively preserves indoor space for houses with lower ceiling heights.

5. Good Stability

Bamboo flooring is produced with specific considerations, controlling the moisture content differently for various regions and climates. Bamboo flooring has excellent stability, with a cracking and deformation rate lower than that of solid wood flooring.

6. Strong Compression Resistance and Water Resistance

Secondary carbonization technology makes the material lighter, and the bamboo fibers are arranged like "hollow bricks," significantly improving tensile and compressive strength as well as waterproof performance.

7. No Insect Infestation

Bamboo flooring undergoes processes like carbonization or high-temperature steaming to de-sugar and de-fat the material. Without a food source, insects naturally cannot thrive, fundamentally solving the problem of insect infestation.

8. Suitable for Underfloor Heating

The manufacturing process of bamboo flooring means that temperature has a minimal impact on it. During production, bamboo flooring goes through various high-temperature stages, including high-temperature steaming (over 40 degrees Celsius), carbonization (175 degrees Celsius, high atmospheric pressure), drying, hot pressing, and UV baking. As long as the process is complete, it can be used for underfloor heating.

9. Healthy

Bamboo flooring can effectively prevent rheumatic arthritis in the elderly and reduce the incidence of rheumatism and heart disease. For children, it can effectively absorb indoor ultraviolet rays, and its light color, soft and warm light are very beneficial to vision, which can reduce the occurrence of myopia. Furthermore, bamboo flooring has appropriate elasticity, which can cushion the impact of footsteps and thus help people relieve fatigue.

10. Simple Installation and Maintenance

Compared to the relatively complex and cumbersome cleaning methods of other wooden floors, bamboo flooring only requires wiping with a damp cloth or wrung-out mop. The installation process is easy and precise, a one-step process that doesn't require painting, saving labor and time. There's also no waste during installation, and it doesn't pollute the indoor environment.
